As a New Yorker for over twenty years, I imagined that not much could floor me; but I have to tell you, getting the call from MTA’s Art for Transit department had me full of emotions (elation, self conciseness, redemption …you name it). It’s THE opportunity to let New Yorkers see your art and personally for me, a humbling career benchmark. I am truly honored and anxiously await the year long showcase of my purple, green and pink people playing for the masses! Now if you reeeaaally like what you see and want one to grace your home,
then the posters are available for sale exclusively at the New York Transit Museum, in stores located at Grand Central Terminal, downtown Brooklyn( at the Transit museum itself), and online here: www.transitmuseumstore.com. Additionally, you may see and purchase the talented Sophie Blackall‘s poster “Missed Connections”, it will also be showcased for 2012 on the transit cars!
The Transit Museum is a not-for-profit organization which promotes and celebrates the history of transportation in the region. Revenue from the sale of Art Cards and other transit merchandise goes to support the exhibitions and educational programs.

Every time I rediscover your piece while riding the subway I stop and look at it for a long time. I love examining the faces of these multicolored people, the exchange of energy between them, and especially the odd serenity of the man in the center, his head tilted to the sky.
Thank you for this excellent work. I know I am one of a great many who enjoy seeing it again and again.
