After graduating from The School of Visual Arts, Mr Christie's first professional job in commercial art began in 1994 for Jazz funk inspired Hip hop group Justice System (MCA records "Summer in the City").Since then He has been striving to create consistently distinctive portraits and scenes from contemporary American life that are challenging and arresting.
